I guess true blooded Pinoy always go ga-ga over hot pandesal, plain or with spread, with or without coffee. A new Pan de Manila branch opened couple of months ago a block away from our office in Paseo de Roxas Makati. I am one of the many who waits eagerly at its opening. Pan de Manila did not disappoint me in any way. On opening day until today that I am writing this blog, their Pugon baked Pandesal is a block buster. Strategically located near offices who doesn’t mind costly pan de sal for breakfast, its aroma every morning makes my tummy crumble. Wrapped in brown paper bags, my everyday 5 pieces small pandesal is as good as always, freshly baked, hot and tasty with every bite. I still buy pandesal in our downtown stores during weekends, but on office days, my morning route starts at Pan de Manila.

My first encounter with Kopi Roti’s Kopi Bun, soft bread with coffee flavored crust and buttery filling inside, was during a Stress Management activity at the office where coffee buns and coffee are overflowing. For the weight-conscious-but-loves-to-grab-a-snack people, sometimes me included though I am not that weight conscious but loves to grab a snack, this is for you. Your very own snack is born...uhm…cooked….uhm…made. No Trans fat, no oil, no cooking at all, these food are magically popped from whatever-their-machine are called. They are similar with chicharon, but not quite, rice cakes or perhaps popcorn, still, not really. By MOTZ Food Products

My personal favorite? All of them. For me,they are the best polvoron in the country and my taste buds cannot get enough of them. The polvoron is firm and melts in your mouth. The flavor is very distinct that you can recognize it with your eyes closed while savoring it. It is not too sweet, not too grainy and really Pinoy made inside and out.
